VW Deisel
Thank goodness that no class B's (to my knowledge) use the VW diesel platform! Hopefully, as well, that Mercedes hasn't been playing any dirty tricks with the Sprinter's emissions.:S

True on the toe thing. I actually can.t remember seein anything like a pick up there...all the caravans were being towed by cars. They are also big time into motor homes.
Having said that at least some country's will be approaching 50 percent of sales as electric in the next few years. In Norway they are using promises of free gas for a year just to keep gas sales up. Gas companies idea. What a surprise.
What is range threat?
Will you be stranded without power, range anxiety. Europeans use Motorhomes , specifically Class C's more than NA's, I think more than 50% are Motorhomes.
EV's popular in Scandinavia or some parts of Scandinavia, most of Europe has more than 50% Diesel.
Pickup Trucks are as rare as hens teeth in Europe. They use cars and Vans to tow their Caravans.
Vans and Cab Chassis variants do the job of Pickup Trucks in NA and they are surprisingly effective at doing that. Other jobs heavier done by " Lorries"
For North Americans, these are their "Pickup Trucks" variants of Vans
