The Walmart parking lot is not a campground.
I'll just never understand all the $$$ spent for an RV to camp at Walmart?? And in a class A forum?? 200K for my class A to camp at Wally World, must of spent all my $$ on the Class A and can't afford a campsite.
It has very little to do with money, for me. In fact, the money spent on the motorhome is what allows the advantage of boon docking comfortably. The biggest advantage is the convenience of location and time. It eliminates the reservation process (which can be stressful). I can drive later and know that I will find a place to be. I can sleep within minutes of arrival. I can leave within minutes of getting up. I'm usually not off my path more than a minute or two.
I've never used it as a "campground". It is a place to be while I sleep. I rarely stay without dropping a $100 on "stuff". Because I drive until late, very few people even know I was there. Usually, from about 10pm until 6am.
