Warning Triangles
How many of you carry a Triangle Warning kit of 3 warning triangles, and 1/2 a dozen safety flares? Commercial trucks are required to carry these and figure it's a good idea to carry same in our MH.

- Commercial type 3 pk of warning triangles (I BORROWED them, but they can be found at most truck stops), a green vest and some flashing lights for night time---because I want to be seen way before the headlights find me.
FYI: The triangle/flare rules for CMV is an "OR" rule. You can carry one or the other. Since the use of flares is not premitted on some loads (think Hazardous materials) and flares have a USE BY date/are one time use...most just carry the triangles - Warning triangles, but no flares.
- We have those, reflective vests and collapseable cones.
- I carry them and store them in a passenger side basement compartment so I do not have to stand out in the lane of traffic to reach them.
- I carry all of the above along with other LED type warning devices.
