In most states any used vehicle is considered "As-is" when sold. Some folks like the security of having what amounts to an insurance policy to cover anything that may go wrong. If you do, shop somewhere other than the dealer, they overcharge for them, and there are better deals to be had. Make sure you check all systems before you sign, if it need tires or servicing, make sure that part of the deal, even down the brand of tire. They choose not to take care of any items walk. They think because you like the rig you won't, but stand your ground.
