Whatever the shop did or did not do is less important that they did not give him a good answer. If they said, "No, we don't wash it and you should not either", that would have been an answer. "If they said, "No, that's not included" that would have been an answer. "If they said "It could be washed but we won't do it for free", that would have been an answer.
Sounds like he ran into a shop that has an owner much like I would expect a business run by rgatijnet1 to be run.
Your absoluty right, lol I didn't pursue an answer because it really didn't matter because he knew It was something I
wasn't gonna pay for. It was only causual conversation. Always one person just gotta throw downers and say bad stuff about someone they don't know. I get my RV washed and waxed at my house for $120.00, It's cheap in Yuma. Thanks Bill
I appreciate all of the nice comments.I especially like that they come from people that have never painted anything, especially an RV. The WORST thing you can do to a new paint job is #1 wipe it down with a dry towel, #2 wipe dirt into it from other area areas, #3 let water spots dry on the new surface.
Now if you brain surgeons(Bill Satellite) can tell me how they can wash a fresh paint job without moving dirt from one area to the new area, and then dry it, without wiping it down with a dry towel, let's hear it. You guys have the answers and like to put down people that have actually painted RV's and other vehicles.
This was in Arizona, nice place for water spots to ruin a new paint job in seconds. Oh, you can't use compressed air either because it just imbeds any dirt in the air in to the fresh paint.
The OP should be lucky that he was too cheap to pay for the wash job since it could have ruined the entire project if done too soon.
