Wash expectation

For some reason the green color on my Excursion is fading and the clear coat peeling on the passenger side and rear, only the green. The white and gold still looks great, anyway, it's at the RV Paint shop getting all the green from front to back and both sides repainted, cost $2,000.00. When I asked if the whole RV would be washed when completed they acted like they wanted to charge me for that too. What do you think? Am I expecting to much? Should it not be washed for a while?
  • I would think that if they had any pride in their work they would give you back your rig after painting looking like a brand new penny. Or as close to that as they can. I sure would make me nervouse if I picked up my MH after a 2000.00 paint job and it was dirty.. That might just be me though.
  • That's why I like this forum, I always learn something new.

With the URA paints, you can wash as soon as they harden.

I have an Excursion also - a 2005 39S and I may want some paint work done. The price seems reasonable. When you get it back, let us know how it looks and where it was done. We travel was the west coast also from from WA to AZ.
