I know nothing about RV washer/dryer combo machines. I have a new neighbor who doesn't either. But the previous owners of her house left this machine in the garage and they don't want it. She doesn't want it either. Sure can. Has to have 24 in wide slot and water and drain and its set. We have an AKSO 24 in and the drum is huge. Dryer is ventless. They run around $1600.00 new.

For less than $1000 one can buy a Splendide which is designed to go in an RV. Used they run about half that or less. IMO, Craigslist will net her less than $300 for it. I know I wouldn't pay more than that....depending on condition of course. For $300 it would have to be pretty pristine...BTW, ventless is the less desirable unit as the vented ones will dry much better with less humidity in the coach....Good luck.....Dennis

That is a condensing, non-venting, combo. I would not recommend this unit for any user, home or RV. For the best performance you need a combo that blows warm air across the clothes and vents that air to the outside. LG might make one, but if you have linked to the product you actually are looking at, this is not one of them.

Yes it would work in an RV, and the real reason is because it's 120v and less then 15amp draw. It will wash and dry clothes just fine given time. Which if you're doing laundry while RV'ing it is more then likely because you are retired and living on the road. Nice unit like that I would start at $500 and see where you go from there. Don't know if I would put it in the RV section though. Lot's of people have cabins, apartments, or small homes where space is at a premium that would like something like that.

I just looked at those yesterday and, for my cabinet they are too deep. Most RV's have a dedicated space to put the W/D and there is a standard (sort of) size they will accommodate. Best to download the installation manual, read the instructions, and measure carefully.Ventless don't dry as well as a vented but, if like us, you can not put in a vented model they are better than nothing and work OK just takes more drying time.

Yes, you can. However, IMO, you do not want to do this, ever. These machines do a very high speed spin to get as much water out as possible. This tends to make some things stick to the drum and it really twists and bundles other pieces of clothing. If you set it to go into the dry cycle upon completion of the wash you are going to end up with some very wrinkled stuff and other stuff that is hard dry-packed material unfit for human use.

On our older Spendide you need to initiate the dry cycle separately from the wash cycle. However the unit the OP referenced (and the smaller RV size sold by Dometic) I believe the dryer can be automatic. As a practical matter my DW has found it beneficial to remove and shake the clothing after washing. Something about it not doing well while plastered to the inside of the drum after spinning.
