I will try this again. My Atwood has two (well 3 really) red lights or had. one i s now blue
Red switch light for Gas Red (now blue) for electric also inside the switch
and a round "Fault" light nearby
When the bulb in the switch burned out I got an LED indicator and wired it across the SWITCHED (gets the red lead) and GROUND) balck) on the switch So now I get a GREEN indicator (in addition to the blue light in the new switch) Replaced the switch when it broke. NOTE..... On my system the switch is part of a much larger assembly.. I re-engineered so as to replace JUST the switch.
Lights and switch are all 12 volt automotive types.,
