Water Heater Stopped Working

Atwood G6A-8E water heater with aftermarket 120v electric element.
All at once, no hot water from electric or gas. No red light when remote switch is turned on. No ignition at water heater. Nada. Nothing. Thermostat or control board? What's confusing me is the fact of no hot water from the 120v electric element. I'm confused. Any suggestions appreciated.

Found problem. Wrong fauce. Everything working as it should. Water heater full of hot water. No ignition on gas side necessary. It's really cruel to grow old!

    Wrong 'faucet'????
my guess he was opening the cold water side instead of the hotwater side:S

  • You have 2 issues.

After market hot rod is NOT connected to/thru anything OEM on that water heater.

It has it own AC Power and t-stat controls.....either it is burnt out due to no water in WH tank, it-s t-stats have tripped (not reset) or the outlet it is plugged into is dead

    Propane not working......
    DC feeder fuse bad
DC Fuse on circuit board bad
Thermal fuse blown (brown wire-----clear tubing)
ECO T-stat tripped. But it will self reset water temp cools to roughly 110*F

You do get water flow out of water heater tank HOT side.....correct?
