Water in Toilet

I keep water in the toilet during the warmer months and RV antifreeze during the winter.
Some pour a little 303 Protectant in the toilet to lube seal.

Yes I do, but take what I do with a grain of salt. I don't leave the water in to lube the seal but to stop any odors coming up from the holding tank. Kind of like a trap under a sink:E

I use just a little squirt of Dawn dish soap to lubricate the seal. Worked great for years.

Leave water in commode to make a seal so that odors cannot come from the tank into the "house". When stored for any length of time in dry climates I put a little mineral oil in the commode to float on top of the water to keep it from evaporating.

Water is not a good idea as it becomes pretty funky after a few weeks. I leave RV antifreeze in the toilet when I know it's going to be sitting for more than a couple of weeks. My 10 year old motorhome still loses no water at the toilet seal.

Slide lube, been using it for years.

If you mean when stored, I use a bit of olive oil. Lubes the seal nicely.

X-2, I do the same, since I don't winterize my coach during the winter anymore. And, when I'm traveling I use a 1/4 cup of Blue Dawn and 3 gallons of water down in the black tank to clean the bottom of the tank when I'm on the road.

A mixture of pine sol and water works for me
