Water softeners
Some advice please. We spend 7-8 months in central Florida. I am considering buying a portable water softener for our coach. I need some advice on what kind to get, how big, etc. Thanks, safe trave...

I talked to the guy that manufactures the Flopur units - not the same guy that sells/distributes them - and for soaking he said the longer the better. Flush time may depend on water pressure and or ability to taste salt. I would taste the water every so often and five minutes was usually enough for me.
Also I think you said yours is a 10,000 grain unit and mine is an 8,000 and being smaller may not take as long as yours.
