- kwrightExplorerIt is a 2005 coachmen mirada
- Mandalay_ParrExplorerMight have a kink in the line behind the panel.
- MrWizardModeratorMany RVs have a valve you have to open
It bypasses the water pump to let the water into the tank
Even with this valve open
It takes 45 minutes to fill our water tank in our 95 Safari
I really dislike this design feature - Dutch_12078Explorer IIThe valves used in the "Water Works" panel have a maximum flow rate of about 2 gallons per minute. That translates to a 60 gallon tank taking 30 minutes to fill at the max rate.

By then the season is over... :) Yea, it's a very slow rate. I am curious if there is back ended engineering for this? Perhaps needed pipe diameter for the fresh pump? (not sure) - tinkerwithitExplorerBe careful with a fast fill of water tank. I removed my regulator for fast fill and the tank under the bed of my motor home looked like a balloon. The vent line had a little kink and the air could not escape as fast as the water was forced in. I did crack the tank on edge of the side wall and top of tank.
