My 2015 Jayco Redhawk has a defective waterpump. I got power and the motor runs, all connections are good, it just does not pump, so it has to be the pump. Will any replacement pump work or do I need ...

No, it is the pump. The design is to blame. If you set the valves for the water system to use water from the pedestal, the pumps can be running all day long, and I think that it what happened.\
