Spizzer...It's an oldie, but a GOODIE. I always smile when I see it again. I remember how *gob smacked* I was when I saw it the first time! It amused the HECK out of us!!..

Well, this might be a "Re-run", but like all good "vintage" movies, this one is always fun to see again! I wonder why this idea never "took hold". Maybe the weight of campers became too much for VW, and there was a time when VW bugs weren't available??????

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm. As I remember, the VW engine (especially the valves) were not the longest lived when used to just move the car. No way the engine would have handled the duty cycle that the RV would have added.

Frankly, I never understood the bug. Underpowered, uncomfortable, and ugly!
