Size is relative to the person looking at it. You and your wife need to look at all of the possible choices - go to an RV show with multiple Class B and then B+ dealers or go from dealer to dealer and look. What one may consider comfortable you may consider a small box.
A Class B provides all the facilities of an RV but not the room inside. There is no walking around - one of you will be in the way if both are up at the same time - and then where would you go in the six or so feet between the front seats and the bed area in the back which is through the kitchen and bathroom area in an 30 inch aisle. If you are comfortable sitting, watching TV, or reading inside while waiting for the spouse to come back from shopping (which there will be limited space to put whatever she buys) then you will like the B. Many B+ are not much different from a B with just a little added room.
My B gives us the advantages of what we were looking for but we spend little time inside other than late night relaxing and sleeping.
