Mr. Mark, I would just run a set of singles on the outside of both back tires. If I'm pulling a trailer I would put one single tire chain on the driver side, outside tire, of the trailer. We call this a drag chain! If I knew I was running in snow with compact ice under the snow I would run 3 railers (one tire chain that covers both dual tires on one side) on the drive axle. And if you have to run on solid ice, I would put one single tire chain on the left front steer tire. Nice thing about single tire chains is you put a 2X4 under the inside dual tire, then your outside tire is off the ground just enough to put the tire chains on. Then you drive ahead a couple feet stop get out and pick up your 2X4's. Then drive ahead 500' retighten the chains and your good to go.
