Well, although I would prefer buying a class C on the Chevy 4500 chassis, but in order to do so, I would have to step down to the Jayco Redhawk of about 28' in length. So the bottom line, if you want to buy a 30-33' class C, you have to buy one on the Ford E-450 14,500 GVWR chassis. Jayco makes modifications to the stock suspension called "J-Ride," which should greatly improve the ride of their class C's. They add rubber mounts between the frame and the floor, add Hellwig helper springs, add rear anti-sway bars, and swap out the stock shocks for a set of Bilstein shocks. Bags.
