I looking to buying a super c RV, but i don't know that many manufacturers. The only manufacturers i know know of are showhauler and Haulmark but i don't know if there very good. Don't say a super c that is not on a semi truck chassis

Super C is a trademark for one brand of RV, and they went out of business a few years ago.Are you looking for a RV based on the GM 5500 series chassis? With the 8.1L gas engine or the 6.6L diesel? GM stopped making that chassis a few years ago, and stopped making all motorhome chassis back in 2012 or 13. There are a few designers that build on a F-650 chassis, and a few more that build on the F-550 pickup chassis. The F-550 is the only one I know of that is both with a 17,000+ GVWR and 4 wheel drive! You might be able to get the F-650 and F-750 in 4 wheel drive, I know they offered it for many years.Check out the 'toyhauler' area, and they list several manufactures, some offer a F-550 based motorhome that can be bought as a toyhauler with a lift in the back to bring toys into the garage area, and they also make traditional class C based on the F-550 chassis, that can have a 19,500 GVWR or the lighter version, 17,000 GVWR! That is pretty heavy duty!Haulmark is a excellent brand. IMHO Renegade and Haulmark are the two best ones.

Dynamax Isata, Jayco Seneca, Host, Coachman, GXV, Earthroamer. Nexus all build on a heavy duty truck chassis. Nexus has the best deal going currently. Dynamax builds high end, high dollar units as does Jayco.

My understanding is there are 2 versions. Light duty and heavy duty. The light duty unit has the adverse remarks. Durability and handling.

I have heard many complaints regarding the light duty version of the Freightliner M22 cab/chassis.

Isn't the Freightliner M2 the chassis that Renegade uses for their Explorer line?
What are the complaints?

An F550 only has a pickup cab, it is a class 5 chassis and drive train (19,500 # GVWR) which is similar as the Navistar Terra Star chassis. My F 550 shares the same block design (6.4L) as the Terra Star. My brakes and differentials are of the high load capacity type. Rear differential is the Dana S110 (prior years utilized the Dana 135 rear axle)my front axle is a wide track Dana 60. The F 550 is only available as a cab/chassis version (not a pickup version).

The OP is actually looking for a Class 6 or higher chassis version of the Super C.

The Nexus is the one to go with. Uses a Navistar medium duty truck chassis w/diesel.
