What are you paying for oil changes

I brought my 2018 Dynamax REV with promaster 3.6 engine to local Ram dealer. Was offered oil change using synthetic blend and tire rotation for 65.00 plus two additional oil changes. Does not pay to do it myself even if I had equipment to do tire rotation.

Yeah my shade tree mechanic days are long gone,retired 2012 @55 toured the world for years came home and started looking at Super C rvs the rest is history.

Purchase Synthetic oil, purchase best (according to reviews), oil and fuel filters. The mechanic (me), often gets good classic country music in the background, with lunch and a beer for payment, after job completion! memtb

Yep it's built on a class 8 truck.

300 sounds reasonable. Consider the 6.7 Cummins in the Ram needs to be serviced every 15k miles. Fuel filters $100, 3 gallons of oil @ $45 and an oil filter another $10. That is just parts, about $155.

The first time I needed fuel filters, the dealer wanted $100 each for labor plus the cost of parts. I ordered the filters on line and spent 30 minutes changing them

25,000 miles per owners manual, put 128,000 miles on it since 10/16.

I think that Volvo has a 35 or 40,000 miles oil change interval so you don't need to do it very often.

Actually the cheapest air filter is $125, overall its a fantastic rig, took 6 months to build to my specifications its basically a one off unit. Thanks for all the replies.

If you look at the top, you'll see it is associated with the super C subsection of the class C forum topic heading thingy. All the posts in the various sub-sections show up under the main section heading all the time; it's just the way this forum software works (or, some might say, fails to work).
