Tropical36, You have good taste by choosing a BlueBird Wanderlodge. My friend has one, not sure what year it is but it is 40'with a tag and when you look at those coaches, I honestly believe they were built better then most coaches. Everything on that coach is heavy duty. His coach has a DD engine on a V-configuration, not sure what engine it is, but he said that he got around six miles per gallon. This coach weighs around 40K. The wiring was all heavy stuff, reminded me of wiring on locomotives.
I know they are out of business also as far as motorhomes, but I believe they still manufacture school buses and I imagine you can still get parts for RV's.
