Well you have been a buzzy bee now after they you need some R&R.
That was the initial list. We just bought the Sahara last November and it went straight into winter storage. It's my way of getting to know the new rig by crawling all over it. I also made myself some extra work by backing into a tree while repositioning the MH in the driveway.
This one is in much better shape than the last. I was still working on the initial list on the gasser when I sold it.
I still need to get it to the CAT shop for yearly fluids etc and the DW wants to replace the faucets. Putting these off because I really needed to give myself (and the credit card) a break.
I know how that go's especially the credit card part. Good luck with the new rig. - Dutch_12078Explorer IIILined the engine dog house, firewall, and part of the driver and passenger foot well floors with "B-Quiet HLiner", a 1/2" thick thermo/acoustic foam with an aluminum heat reflecting skin. The measured sound level at the driver's ear level dropped 10dB at a stationary 2,000 RPM.
- LamanExplorerPolished all four of my Alcoa aluminum wheels yesterday with the Mothers polishing kit. A lot of work but boy do they shine! I had already washed and waxed the coach on Sunday, tired but ready to head out for the week-end.
- JimM68ExplorerI been busy too.
Put a radiator petcock in the drain for the atwood water heater. Found a plastic 1/2" to 1/4" adapter that worked great. A brass one won't screw into the water heater.
Still finishing the entry step project, had the steps powder coated, replaced the antiskid strips, replaced the bronze bushings and worn out spring washers. Installed 3 new LED lights under the steps, wired to the existing switch for the inside step lights. Almost done.
Door awning motor burned out again. New motor came in today. Also replacing the fabric, that should be here soon, it shipped today from Stone Vos in Florida. - WILDEBILL308Explorer III polished the headlight lenses using a kit from Mothers. The kit has everything but masking tape. What a difference now I might try driving after dark. Naw I haven't driven this coach after sundown and don't have any plans to be on the road that late or that early. But if your headlights are yellowing and discolored I recommend the Mothers kit.

* Install new TV cabinet and TV
* Install new bedroom TV
* Lube steps
* Lube battery drawer

I think that's enough. Time to go camping this weekend. Thank goodness I can do this myself...

Finally washed the front & got the bugs off. Was letting it be abused not having it clean. Also replaced the toilet value to stop the ever so growing leak and parked it back in the new garage!! Love my new Man Cave!!
