- Big_BlueExplorerCompleted a 24 hour live boondocking test - battery through inverters capacity. Only failure point occurred while running the Keurig coffee machine. That little bugger kicks in at a nearly 25A draw.
All systems are go to hit the road next month. - BigdogExplorerWashed it yesterday, pulled the wheel covers, checked all the fluids and fired her up and loaded her for a trip to Port Townsend. Gotta get her some exersize 'cuz she was in the shop for four weeks.

KC - BigdogExplorerGot it back today, only $2200 for everything. Yeh right, only $2200. Actually was pretty good considering that the place I go is only $85 an hour for labor, so ,for once, parts were more than labor.
It's 3 miles home, but I was so glad to get her back, that it was about a 40 mile drive and she felt good. Had to turn the dash A/C off as it was blowing too much cold air. That's what a new compressor, drier and a full charge of Freon will do.:B:B - BigdogExplorerLooked out the back window and still no motorhome on it's pad, bummer. They did call today and ask how to turn the alarm off.. They rehooked the batteries and I could hear it in the background. Told them where the keyfob was. They said that they paid the Texas company that they ordered the drier and A/C compressor from for three day delivery and it took almost two weeks to get here as it was shipped regular freight, so that means about a $100 return on shipping costs. Supposed to get it back tomorrow or Friday.

Where is the leak? You might be able to repair it cheaper than that.

A/C compressor seized up and they have had the coach for 4 weeks so far and are at $2,000 or so. They had to hunt around to find a compressor and a drier and those have been on their way from Texas for two weeks,. Not bad for three day shipping. It took them a bit before they were able to find where my drier was located, oppss, above the gennie and that had to come out before they could work on that part. They didn't make anything easy did they. - 1950panmanExplorerlike the flying J card...hey looking to trade my 73 vette...for a nice used motorhome...any one interested? lane..in Alabama
