- psmooreExplorerTrying to figure out how to fix the fuel leak in my generator.
- dcbrewerExplorerPut the King dome back on, sent for repair, had a bad LNB. Now it locks in good again.
- jocat54ExplorerYesterday had 6 new Hankook A12 (255/70x22.5 installed with dynabeads.)
Today, ignition switch. Mine was a little loose in the dash so thought I would tighten it up. It fell apart in my hand when I reached behind the dash to hold it while I tightened the bezel. - 1963jarheadExplorerI got big bucket of soapy water a brush and got on top of my class A roof and washed the entire roof, AC unit covers to. What a difference this made in the looks of the MH. When it rains now it doesn't have dirty water streaking the white paint on the sides. God Bless America.jp - Dutch_12078Explorer IIIRelocated the fresh water pump from the bedside cabinet to the wet bay and added sound/vibration isolator hose links. I also added a valve and suction line for winterizing or filling the fresh tank from water jugs. I don't know what the engineers were thinking when they thought that putting the pump right next to the bed was a good idea.
- UseroverdriveExplorerYesterday: filled the LP tank (16 gallons), cleaned out gray and black tanks(testing new equipment), filled fuel tank, let the guys at the 18 wheeler wash crew get a hold of it.
Today: loaded 99% of road gear, took a short (100 miles) test drive, re-filled gas tank to check mpg (6.25)

Mine is a micro quiet 3000 but everyone I talk too say's it can not be setup with auto start? I don't know to much on generators.
I see several micro quiets listed in the EC-30W manual i don't seek a 3000 though....i see 2.5, 2.8, 3.6 & 4.0.
Perhaps the EC-30 (non wireless) supports your gen.
The Onan auto starts are easiest (plug and play) to connect.
Magnum Energy makes a unit that you can wire in to ANY generator - its a little bit more involved but if you can trace wires and perform a wire crimp you shouldn't have a problem.
I almost went with the Magnum ME-AGS-S at 250 bucks or so its about 200 bucks cheaper than the Onan EC-30w.

That's interesting I wonder if that would work I will look into it thanks for the info. - RVChippysExplorerPicking up from camping world today (warranty issues) and am going to change the oil before we head off to New Orleans.

I would love to have that on my generator but it don't support it so much for that?
I installed an Onan EC-30W, wireless automatic gen start....so far I'm loving it & it will give us peace of mind when we have to leave the dog at camp (since it will automatically start the gen if shore power is lost, the batteries get low, or there is a requirement for ac or heat).
it will also mean less generator run time when dry camping (at the track or tail gating) - since it monitors the batteries & starts/charges the batteries before they get "too" low.
AND the added bonus of now being able to start & stop our gen from the drivers seat (or anywhere else).
is that a question ?
what model generator do you have ? the EC-30W supports many Onan gen-sets (propane/gasoline & diesel)...there is also a WIRED version (EC-20 & EC-30).
Both the WALL MOUNTED (Wired) EC- 20 and 30 models will automatically monitor batteries and RV generators; however, the 30 model also includes automatic generator starting functions and special safety features.
a list of compatible onan generators is listed in appendix B (page B-1) of the Owners Manual at this link - EC-30W Owners Manual (pdf)
I also looked at other similar devices that would support non-Onan's that I'm happy to share that information.
