What did you do to your Class A MH today???

Turned the A/C on and watched it sit on our driveway. It looked as if it was smiling back at me. I did not want it to feel the adverse affects of this oppressive heat.

Ah yes, fully understand that issue. There are many occasions that it is legal to haul around within a state and I do it often to avoid the expensive camp prices!

1989 Southwind, I changed one of the leaking rear firestone air bags.
After struggling with trying to get the air line off the bag, I found the 2 3/8s nuts on the top holding the upper bracket on. Take these off after removing the schrader valve on the airbag and the job will be easy. jack up your frame at the rear to get as much space as possible between the rearend and the frame. no more leaking bag:).

Wired the chassis batteries to the Echo charger output on my Xantrex inverter/charger.

We cleaned the inside front to rear after getting back yesterday from our 3800 mile trip to South Dakota. Had no problems and got 8mpg. Drove around 63mph most of the trip. Never had to run the dash a/c. Set the front a/c on 68 and the rear on 72 and ran the overhead fans on low and was comfortable driving. Spent the nights at Walmart going and coming and stayed at the RafterJ campground in Hill City. We highly recommend this campground. Next week will change oil and filters in engine and genset again.

I got the pocket hose a couple months ago. So far it is holding up. Maybe it is better than the x hose?

Had one of those "cabinet strike" things break. Went over to the local RV store and found an almost perfect match. I suppose that 13+ years of use were pretty good for the original. Now all I have to do is gather the appropriate tools to install. Maybe tomorrow if it isn't raining.
