- TubaronnieExplorerNew master brake cylinder! Ever try to get off an exit when you suddenly have no back brakes? Just started skidding on front tires. SO fortunate no one was behind or beside me late at night in Kentucky hills. I was able to veer back onto freeway shoulder and not go down an embankment. Wife and I are still jittery! Brakes solid again. Thank you Lord!
- TechWriterExplorerRegenerated my water softener in Show Low, AZ. It's getting cold, so I gotta hurry.
- ncfd410ExplorerPicked it up from having state inspection and an oil change. Getting ready to buy a tow dolly and leave for a short trip to Williamsburg, Va next week.
- Canadian_RainbiExplorerLooked at it parked and told it not to worry, we'll be on the road south soon; just at little later this year.
- fltrkerExplorerReplaced the motors and housing on fantastic fan, tried to fix leak on back of toilette ,
Still hoping someone will tell me how to fix the dump valve on the air suspension. - JetAonlyExplorer

I can't believe some of these companies like Monaco do not use steel angle iron to frame something as heavy as the old style TV. On my coach it is all framed with 1"angle iron to form the box and ties into the all steel cage all around the front part of the coach super structure.
Now that you mention it, the cherry cabinetry it quite sturdy. One of things I have noticed is how tight the cabinet joints are after nearly 14 years. There is not even a seam that has opened up anywhere with 63k miles. It is one of the reasons we are looking to stay in a Dynasty to get a bit more room. That old TV probably weighed ~50lbs. - RayChezExplorerI can't believe some of these companies like Monaco do not use steel angle iron to frame something as heavy as the old style TV. - JetAonlyExplorerFinished the Video upgrade. Removed the boat anchor CRT Quasar from the front. Put gas spring door on hole to hold Samsung 32" LED. Back TV is still CRT as we don't use it much, so it will not have HD. Replubmbed the CoAx so as to have cable and OTA plus DVD to rear TV. Installed Trav'Ler DTV. It all works and the Travler is waay cool.

- frankdampExplorerWinterized the plumbing - OATs are headed down into the mid-30's overnight now. I'll be putting the oil-filled radiator and digital thermostat in the bedroom area in the next couple of days, then pulling the rig all the way into its winter space alongside the garage.
I use the radiator to keep the interior at about 38 degrees. We don't get really hard frosts here, and most winter days get up to about 40F, so the power consumed isn't very significant.
We had hoped to make an end-of-season trip into Eastern Washington before we buttoned things up, but a month or so ago, I took a fall in the garage and dislocated the middle finger of my left hand. I can drive short distances, but setting up and breaking camp wouldn't be feasible.
Advice - if your recyclables wheelie bin is full, DO NOT climb into it to stomp the contents down (same goes for yard waste bins). I did that, not realising the back of the bin was a couple of inches away from the wall. When I moved towards the back, it tipped enough to allow the wheels to roll. It threw me out against the wall. Minor concussion from my head hitting the wall and a dislocated finger. Definitely not fun, but everyone who heard the story has had a good laugh about it! - John_WayneExplorer IIPut a new RV COOLER on my Dometic refrig. as the yellow stuff leaked out of the old unit.
