- georgetown_stanExplorertoday I just sat and looked at this beautiful woman I share our mtrhome with and thanked for the time spent with her.
- 4KellysExplorerMoving back to the west from Tenn. Love it here and cheap to live but miss family & friends too much. Will be fulltiming as of the 16th for probably 6 months till we can find property in Reno/Sparks area. Packing up the house and putting things in storage and trying not to overload the MH with too much stuff. Will head to the Rally in Louisville and then to Colo. to see the grandkids before landing in Nevada around Aug. 1.
- sundancer268ExplorerMounted the last vent on the roof yesterday and will finish the Eterna-bond tape tonight or tomorrow night. I will finally be able to move it from our barn to the parking pad and get her ready for the summer.
- SRTExplorerFinally warm enough to clean and Rain-X the windshield. May even put a coat of wax on the front for faster bug removal.
- koda55ExplorerInstaled the front ride rite air bags on our 35 2005 Georgie Boy Landau. Made a big difference in the ride.

DW cleaned the outside a bit.
Took off some tape and removed drop cloths from painting on the inside.

Drove 30 minutes to buy an air compressor that was on sale to air up the tires only to find out the sale dont start until tomorrow......DOH.
Lost a wheel weight driving it to check out the brakes. - kpconnellExplorerWashed it. At an RV park in MT. After taking the toad into Glacier National Park :)

Replaced all the inside halogen bulbs with LED's. Also replaced the outside porch and security lights with LED bulbs and installed new lenses. No more hot lamps or melted plastic covers for me.

Where did you get the bulbs from?
I got the halogen replacements from ebay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/140581238723
and the outside lights from Camping World:
http://www.campingworld.com/shopping/item/led-replacement-directional-bulb-with-bayonet-mount-connection-daylight-white/55022
If you do replace them be aware that LED's are polarity sensitive. I had to do some small wiring changes to some of the sockets on the interior halogen bulbs.

do you need a different socket also or a entire new lamp housing?
looked at the bulbs and they seem to have 2 prongs sticking out that plug into something.
Same sockets and fixtures. The halogen bulbs I replaced were installed in hockey puck like fixtures that are mounted in the ceiling, the cabinets and above the countertop. The bulbs were configured the same way with two leads that plug into a ceramic block. I did remove the metal reflector because the LED's are larger that the old halogen bulb. The light intensity is about the same, but they operate much cooler.

DON'T THINK THEY WOU;D WORK ON OUR FIXTURES, we have the type where the blub just pushes in and twist it to lock it in. kind of like brake lights in a car. - sailor_louExplorer
