- MrWizardModeratortoday nothing but let the rain wash it
but two weeks ago before going to Q
had the rear disc brakes replaced
new pads, reman calipers, new seals $1378..Ouch - Gadget_ManExplorerHad the Aero 5050XL muffler I installed three years ago pulled off and re-installed the Freightliner OEM muffler (glad I saved it). Worst "upgrade" I've done to date. It created no increase in power, only in noise and heavy ehaust fumes.
One used Aero muffler for sale! :)

- Outwest63ExplorerI was having problems with the fuel pump, it would work fine one day and the next it would not work. Used the trouble shooting advise from the forum and cleaned all the ground connections I could find, still would not start. So I started tracing wires and found a wiring connecter that was attached to a electrical board with three relays on it. Relays checked out ok, cleaned the connecter and applied some di-electric grease and it appears to have solved the problem. The motor home is a 1996 Bounder on a 1995 F53 chassis.

Yesterday I repaired the drive shaft parking brake by replacing the brake shoes.
Then removed the wheels, 19.5" needing 450 lbs of torque, and made sure the disk brakes had plenty of pad left. They do.
Today will be greasing and lubing the chassis.
Tomorrow is removing the house batteries and adding water if needed. Distilled of course. Then vacuuming, cleaning and finally washing using a product that waxes at the same time. 303 Protectant on the tires and Windex on the windows and we will be ready for the next trip.
There is always something but it is still fun and a good hobby for an old timer.
If you have a Chevy P30 chassis, I would question the 450lbs of torque, that you speak of. - JumboJetExplorerReplaced leaking LP Gas regulator.

The kids have rented a big house way up overlooking Hood Canal that has a huge screen tv and so we're gonna head down there in the MH Friday to watch the Seahawks win the Super Bowl again. No room at the inn for us, so we're taking the MH and staying at a waterfront rv park in Potlatch. Here it's only Tuesday, but the MH is all loaded with food and clothes, fueled, and ready to go. I'm ready....
