we put in a cup or two of pinesol + some laundry detergent along with 20-25 gallons of water into the blackwater tank today (went less than 100 miles).
That combination DID clean the sensors and they are actually working for the first time in years...
Thanks, this is a GREAT place to get new ideas, and thankfully - to find a solution {to non-working tank sensors} that really works!
This is what I do when I won't to clean the black tank put in a bottle of downy with a bag of ice you do this when you get ready to go somewhere and the ice will slash around with the downy and is not to abrasive on the sensors and it cleans them up real good.- Oh, forgot one!

Thanks, this is a GREAT place to get new ideas, and thankfully - to find a solution {to non-working tank sensors} that really works! - Installed that digital TV accessory do-dad to the Winegard over-the-air antenna. Really easy, snaps right on. Seemed to get more channels, and the ones I'm getting are clear with no interference.
Hey UltraKen Good for you brother. Keep at it a little at a time, right? DO NOT GIVE UP! And hey- {NICE, really NICE} Vespa. If I was still riding I'd take that baby right off your hands... - Finally, after 18 months of rehab/healing, I was able to do some minor work on the coach.
I filled the black tank with water and about 1/3 of a box of Riddex. I'm hoping this will clean off the sensors and will ease the operation of the slide valves.
It also gave me a chance to make sure there are no leaks, except I didn't fill the fresh water tank - didn't want to go through the sanitizing procedures and my legs were starting to give out - so the only place left for possible leaks would be the pump filter. I'll check it out in a day or two.
The plan is to get the coach ready to go camping with my sons and grand-kids and also to go to the Vintage Motor Bike club in July to see if I can sell my '81 Vespa P200. I bought it new in 1981 and have babied it for over 30 years. :C
- Replaced the black plastic panels on my Norcold refrigerator with plywood paneling from Lowes for $10.00. Lowes cut the board to the appropriate size using the plastic panels as a pattern. Added a more custom look to the interior.

Where did you get the bulbs from?
I got the halogen replacements from ebay:

If you do replace them be aware that LED's are polarity sensitive. I had to do some small wiring changes to some of the sockets on the interior halogen bulbs.

do you need a different socket also or a entire new lamp housing?
looked at the bulbs and they seem to have 2 prongs sticking out that plug into something.her&I wrote:

05 Travel Supreme Envoy - I learned I didn't have an electrical problem today! Yes, RVing is new to me so this will probably give you all a good laugh. While preparing to depart from our last trip I remember fumbling with my hands to push the switch to retract the awning. Fumbling? Because at first it didn't retract then, thankfully, trying it again the awning retracted. Driving home I notice my Jensen radio and camera system were not operating. This is a new RV so I mentally added this to a couple of other items for the dealer to check. Last week when getting ready to return home from having a front-end alignment I turned on the generator to run the house AC (the dealer tech told me to use the generator regularlyto keep it "healthy"). Low and behold, the jensen system and cameras are working again. But once I turned the generator off they turned off. Last night it suddenly came to mind, I wonder if I turned the battery disconnect switch off when fumbling to retract the awning. This morning I drove to the storage area and sure enough the switch was off. Turned it on and everything worked like it should. I love the flexibility, but it can get confusing working with shore power (50, 30, 15 amp), generator power, house batteries, vehicle power, vehicle battery...
