Arrived home today from a weekend trip to my sisters for a graduation party. Nothing real exciting today, but yesterday was interesting. We arrived at my sisters and was directed to park on the lawn. Before anyone realized what was going to happen, it was too late. After several days of rain the ground was soft, too soft for a 9000# vehicle. We were stuck up to the running boards. To make matters worst, we drove down a slight slope and the back end was buried up to the trailer hitch...YIKES!! We were just sick and thought the worst. There was no going forward or backwards. We did a little digging around the back tires and my brother-in-law got his truck, we hooked a strap to both trailer hitches and hoped for the best. Unfortunately, there just wasn't enough power or room for him to pull us straight back. After a few minutes of discussions of what to do next, and several prayers, the local farmer with his tractor showed up. He hooked us up and out we came with no problem. YEA!!! No damage to anything underneath...double YEA!!!. I wish I had a picture to post, it was sickening to see our "Roada" buried up to the running boards.
