We're prepping today for a two week trip with our son and two grandsons (2 & 6 years). We will take along a tent for them. :) But, we will have to put up with goldfish, slim jims, pretzels and other snacks spilling all over. We have a supply of DVDs to watch on the road. It will be an experience. :D
The electric sofa has three seat belts. The center is only a lap belt which is all that is needed for a child seat. So I devised this attachment to hold the seat. It is a 3 ft. steel stranded cable I had made up at the hardware store with loop ends that fasten to industrial strength carabiners that fasten to the seatbelt anchors. Everything is rated for greater than 350 lbs.
