Hi Folks,
Today I finally got my Roadtrek 190V out of the snow drift. In January, before Sheila and I left for Florida, I parked it along a fence in my driveway. We were gone most of February so with all the snow in the Boston area, it got buried. When I returned, I could just see the top. It had more than three feet of snow on the top and I could not get to the doors. On top of that, directly behind the RV along the street there was a six foot high pile of snow. (I have two roads of snow plowed in front of the house and driveway. If during a storm, if I am out, The highway dept. makes a second cut and takes most of the snow away. I remove the rest with my snow blower. (Man's best winter toy)).
So when I returned I called the highway department and asked if they could make a pass at my pile. Nothing happened for a week. God helped me by sending warm weather and rain. So this morning, I worked with a shovel and snow blower, and by noon the pile was moved and I backed the RV out.
I then took it to the car wash, and washed it. This evening, I took it out and "exercised" it.
Another season is here.
