Arlene and I replaced the rear door hinge pins. They were difficult to get out. Bushing were worn and 1 pin was rusting badly. Even with the spare tire off, the door was heavy. Told Arlene if you drop the door you can't go to the rally. She found some extra strength.
When we finished with the door we started to cut out the new carpet for the front. Noticed last week when we removed the old carpet there was a gap in the sheet metal at the wheel well of about 1/8" by 3". This had caused water to get in under the carpet and soaked it the last 2 years. Couldn't find it until I took carpet out. Filled in the split with silicone and screwed the sheet metal together. Next warm day we will finish installing the carpet.
