What Did You Do To Your Class B Today ?

I turned our RT to face the street (downhill) and moved it over in front of the garage, backed up to be under the overhang with the rear doors open and proceeded to start loading. Whoopee!!! Where do we put this, and that? Are you sure we took those last time? They won't fit in here! We will have it all sorted out by June, I hope! Practice run is end of this month, then it is for real! Newfoundland here we come!

We finally have had two days with sun and no rain. I looked out the window at my PW and vowed that by May 27, I will have it cleaned, loaded and ready to go--somewhere, anywhere even if the rains have returned! It has been too long since we have used our beloved PW.

My van had a coolant flush today :)

DGF and I took the Class B to my sister's 50th birthday party last Saturday. (60 mile trip)

Our first time sleeping in a Class B after having a C. We were very impressed with the sleeping quarters. There was enough room for me to be comfortable as I am 6ft. tall. My sister appreciated us sleeping in the Class B. That was one less thing to worry about in her house as other people stayed over.

Also, My mother is visiting me from out of town and we went shopping in the B today. It is a lot more comfortable for her than being in my truck. It has gotten a lot of exercise the past few days!

That is correct. I have the stick shift. I'm pleased at how easy it is to hook up for towing. I like the Yaris very much. It has 16,000 miles on it. It's a mint - in great condition. The previous owner is selling his large class A with the Yaris. He's having difficulty selling the rig so he made an offer to me to buy the Yaris separately. I got a deal I couldn't refuse - and, I got the tow bar, etc as part of the deal.

Our RT gets about the same as you - 13.5. Not bad for RV's but we wanted to keep the RT as a home base for our Beagle when we leave for short day trips to sightseeing activities.

I got 37 combined MPG on the last fill up. So, I can't complain. It's a great car for us retired folks driving around town. :B

So, to keep this on topic, now that I have done so, I will continue to practice hooking up the Yaris to our Class B once or twice twice a week for a while before hitting the road.

I hooked up the new (to us) 2007 Toyota Yaris and practiced towing it around a bit. This vehicle tows on all 4. We will use it to drive locally in Florida next winter.

The wife and I used our Versatile 170 for a respite from the kids for a few minutes.

lol,, I think Ive done give up on the repairing of "The Money Pit" and using,, its been exciting imagining all the trips we would take, what we would do, etc.. but we ran across a class A today and talked to the owner, and, well, Im heading to the bank tomorrow,, lol,, its 26-27ft damon challenger, and everything works, engine fires right up, generator fires right up both are quiet inside. carpet has a little wear, but inside looks immaculate, without Usage marks on everything, nor any waterdamage,, and it appears to have everything we want, and is a very good price, IMO, for 28,000 miles on a 1994.. so cath yall in the Class A forum in a week or so, when I get my new used RV,, hehehe
