Finally finished a complete exterior cleaning and application of 3 coats of Red Max Pro.
Complete wash with TSP, then rub down/wash with Bar Keepers Friend, wash again with Dove soap, rinse. Not so much as a greasy fingerprint anywhere. Really clean but no shine at all after all that scubbing.
Red Max Pro applied with white micro-fiber cloth. No colour change, everything is bright white just as it should be. My biggest fear was turning Minnie beige but no problems at all as far as colour change.
Never been up and down a ladder some many times in one weekend. What a great way to really get to know your exterior walls and caulking and the litle deficencies that I didn't really see until the wash and wax job.
Was it worth it? You bet! The 2000 Winnie likely didn't shine like it does now when it left the factory. Decals look new and the original deep colour of the stripes is back.
