Good news. I have something to report!
Took the cover off.
Fixed the Vinyl edge trim on the the front Driver's side. (It had shrunk from age)
Checked the Battery water. Better news, the new converter was plugged in all winter, and the batteries did not need any water! Yeah! I had connected the cranking battery to the house batteries with a double ended 'cigar lighter' cord from my little 'emergency battery/air pump'. It worked well, all three batteries were full of water and sparks. $185 for new converter, well spent, it seems.
Fired the Genny. Let run for an hour.
Flushed the Pink stuff out, and filled the FW tank. Going to drain it today, and refill.
Drove it around the block.
NOW, where to go? Seems like most places in Colo I want to go. Have a fire nearby! Oh well, maybe it'll get rid of some of the Beatle Kill trees. Maybe we'll head for the Flattops.
Life is good.
Have you been on Highway 12 Highway of Legends? Several great camping areas our favorite is Bear Lake near Cuchara. http://takearoadtrip.com/hwy-legends.html
