I finished the reassembly of the Exhaust Manifold. YIPPEE!!
Fixed a few other sundry items I discovered along the way.
Burned Wires, C clips missing, Stripped mounting bolts, all 3 fan belts replaced. It started right away and purred like a 454cc mountain lion.
It has never sounded so quiet.
I'm going to the Mojave desert this coming weekend the 12th
A 375 mile round trip. The forecast is the high 40s and lows in the low 20s dry and clear. I love it. I get to do some drywasher gold mining too. When it's still outside the silence is deafening. Once in February out there, I was panning some pay-dirt after sundown and some jelly like stuff was in my panning water. MY PAN WAS FREEZING UP!
