Took it on a road trip for business.
For fun, I used the inverter energize the water heater. I started out running it 5 minutes on and 5 minutes off, then I switched to 10 minutes on and 5 minutes off. At the end I ran the heater for 15 minutes. To end the process I turned off the heater while I found a level place to park.
I have a scan gauge and it appeared to indicate that there was no change in mileage while running the water heater.
For the rest of the trip I ran the fridge on the 120 volt setting.
