Today it rained, so I checked to make sure my "new roof" wasn't leaking. The entire cabover area (that I just rebuilt) is dry as a bone, however ..... I sealed up a rooftop A/C gasket leak and a leaking rear window.
Our awning funnels the water off the roof right onto the window frame. The window outer edge was not draining fast enough, so I had to make a bunch of extra drain holes.
The A/C gasket surface looked good and it sits completely flat against the aluminum roof. Fixing the a/c leak was a simple matter of squirting some Alex sealant between the gasket and roof, then tightening it back down.
