Installed a Firestik CB no ground plane antenna and coax on the passenger side of my Freightliner M2 chassis. The drivers side has a combination AM/FM/CB antenna and I could not get the SWRs to come down. So much fiberglass on these rigs no ground plane was the only way to go. They leave the ring terminal off so you can route the coax easier.
