- beachball42ExplorerWent last week to check on it and found the battery was dead. Replaced the battery today and then exercised the generator. Did a general walk through and inspection. Not quite ready to head out yet but we are heading to Washing DC for Spring Break the first week of April so I am anxious to bring it home and get her ready for the trip.
- Jtroop1ExplorerToday was productive. Brought the rig over from storage. Serviced the genset, put on new Hadley mirrors, washed the rig and used Mequiars #50 cleaner wax on one side of the rig. Today was nice, sunny skies, 48 degrees. Sitting in the rig right now, wishing I was somewhere with the rig and family.

- doneeExplorerGot out and checked the stock of what is already in the MH and what needs to be replaced for the trip to Az at the end of the month.
Checked out everything else and found the starting battery may need replacing.
Other than topping off the fuel and propane, I think we re good to go. - KamphikerExplorerStill in the process of re-sealing the windows etc. Yesterday I did the larger window over the Dinette and driver side overhead bunk window. Only need to do the Refer. vent and the Passenger side overhead bunk window.
Bought and used Nu-Finish car polish everyone on the forum touts about on the front overhang and part of one side. Less than thrilled with results, while it shines there is NO DEPTH to the look. Does not seem to be a big difference between application of Nu-Finish and my approx. 9 month old wax job that was in place. Was looking for easier way to protect the finish than paste carnuba wax.
Might just break down and purchase a gallon of 303 aerospace and use it everywhere instead of just the graphics.
Also made up a sewer hose extension so I don't have to worry how close I get to a campsite sewer outlet. In a few previous outings my 10 ft hose was a real stretch. Now have 20 feet combined. - jrdr653ExplorerPut my Bow saw back in the storage, isn't that exciting!
- CuemakerExplorerInstalled TV in BR along with DVD plyr. Took out TV from BR after finding out there was no color on the DVD input. Will do it again tomorrow... at least the first part...Pur bolts in couch back. I cannot believe the couch back would come just setting loose like that. I called coachmen and they said that's the way it comes. What about an accident and that thing comes flying from behind and hits us in the back of the head..... ouchhh... set it up, marked and put in 4 bolts to secure.... Must have been built by Obama's team... Fast and loose.
- RiplinExplorerNothing. We pickup our new GreyHawk 31FS in 2 weeks. The wait is killing!
- Jtroop1ExplorerBought a bottle of Meguiar's #50 cleaner wax. I am thinking about washing and waxing the rig this Saturday. It will be sunny and 42 degrees.
- MordistExplorerWent out and cleared the little remaining snow off the roof, getting ready to de-winterize and clean up for the 2010 season!
