- johnbhicksExplorerYes, eternabonding is a verb. Judging from how often I do it, eternabonding must be my favorite recreational activity.:R
- Jtroop1ExplorerThis weekend I:
Washed the rig, including the roof.
Applied eternabond on the front and rear seams. I still have to do the side seams and all the roof protrusions.
Bought some gutter extensions and put them on.
I am going to install an LCD tv mount in the bedrrom this week. As I get time this week, I hope to do some more eternabonding (is that a verb yet? :B ) and proflex caulk the windows/running lights. - Harvey51ExplorerI bought a nice little 12 Volt air compressor at Walmart for $50.

I never paid more than $20 for one before but this one is really very nice. It is reasonably quiet and pumps well. The 16 inch spare was down to 30 psi and this thing brought it up to 65 in 7 or 8 minutes. It didn't seem to slow down at higher pressure so I guess it is good for 80 psi anyway. The gauge on it works - no flickering of the needle and the reading is accurate. Nice long hose with a quick connect on the compressor end and a threaded tube on the other end to screw onto a valve stem.
I used a little adapter from the hardware store to change from inner to outer threads and a fitting to upsize it to standard size so I could screw on my long inflation tool which can reach into the inside wheel. I really need one with a straight end like my pressure gauge (also shown at top of photo) has, but haven't found one yet. That inflation tool works unattended (sticks onto the valve stem) but must be held onto the valve stem extenders I have. I must find an easy way to remove those extenders, which are nice for checking pressures because they don't need a cap. - doneeExplorerThroughly cleaned it out after the last trip.
Key word is throughly.
Emptied everything out and upgraded to a Class A.
Need the extra room.:B - johnbhicksExplorerEternabonded the lower side seams of the cabover a day before getting four inches of rain and 50kt winds. It's no longer letting water in and out.
At least water isn't coming out...I hope it's not going in.:E
Is it against the rules to install a bilge pump in the cabover? - racnacrExplorerInstalled a new kitchen faucet. Nice high rise that pulls out and can be used as a sprayer. Now we can wash pots and pans no problem. Not a fan of pex tubing however... I'd post pics if I wasn't so computer illiterate
- cal47ExplorerJust installed Borg 7" valve stems on my Rickson wheels. Can't standed the braded extensions.
- GoldencrazyExplorerThat is very nice. Well done.
- dsuretteExplorerReplaced three vent covers and added LED track lighting to the couch seating area. The incandescent lighting just wasn't bright enough. And as a bonus, the LEDs draw less current for more light. Will do the overhead reading lights over the bed next.
- cal47ExplorerJust ordered new Borg valve stems to go on my Rickson 17.5 wheels. Also ordered one of the new bonnets Camping World sells that you can roll down and see out. Will use it on extended stays, otherwise use Easy Curtain.
