- woodworker414ExplorerTried to start the genny, turns over good, but would not start. It always has been hard to start when cold. But I guess with the real cold weather we are having right now, it does not like it. Wiill talk to my buddy who is a mechanic to see when he will have to look at it. Suppose to go to the mid 40's early next week. Hope he can look at it then.
Bill - pdmac1946ExplorerI am sitting in my 1995 class c in a security yard at a truck repair shop in Anthony, Texas. My fuel pump died on my way to Arizona. Lucked out in finding a mechanic who wanted some work thru Camping World and my rig will be repaired tomorrow morning despite the holiday. Good bless hard working people. :-)

- EMD360ExplorerWe cleaned it inside for our next trip. Ordered an oven part again, thinking this time I'll fix it. Exercised the generator for an hour or so. Maybe we could still get away this long weekend...
- pianotunaNomad IIIHi,
Robbed the tool kit to do some work in the S & B house. - stillwanderingExplorerWent to Middlebury In, today to get our class c we had some delamination fixed on one side. Sure was hard to keep the camper from continuing on south on the way back home. We had snow all the way up there, but just wet roads on the way back. Sure wish we were headed on south.
- trb46ExplorerChanged the batteries in the smoke and CO detectors.
- EMD360ExplorerCouple of little chores to get into the RVing mood again. Remounted the ScanGauge with new heavy duty velcro--a little higher so I can see it better while driving. Re-glued the sink trim that was coming off. I used contact cement last summer but it was starting to peel off again. This time I used liquid nails, hope the repair lasts. I'd like to replace the sink with a stainless one but it is an odd shape so I'd have to recut the counter. The sink is also small, less than 24" under counter dimensions, although a 24" OD x 17" or 18" overlap sink might work in the space, as long as it is only about 6 inches deep.
Also did some studying for the step replacement and new training wheel install after losing both last trip out. Will try to get both of those done this weekend so we can get out on the road again for a January weekend.
