- Kit_CarsonExplorerI washed the MH, waxed the cab area, checked air pressure in tires. It had been sitting idle for several months but we are getting ready for a fall trip and I can't wait.
- fireman93514ExplorerI have a leak in the bathroom sink. Took the faucet out and found the threaded stem was cracked. Had to drive 65 miles each way to an RV store to buy a new one. Today I get to install it.
- richardwiseExplorerDug into my pile of scrap wood. Finally built a short step to
help me reach the step to get into the MH. Then built some
leveling blocks. If my leg and hip allow me to walk some tomorrow,
I plan on going to Lowes to get some supplies for more projects. - Gunner45ExplorerPut out feelers to get someone to make drawers for under our dinette seating :) Can't wait to see if they can do it for us!
~ Dori ~ - pianotunaNomad IIIPicked it up and decided to try using the inverter, solar and battery bank to cool down the fridge. Used 160 amp-hours and got from 69 (20.5 c) down to 48 f (8.8 C)
- bob_and_donnaExplorerinstalled some different drawer latches. got the first set of license plates for it. knew it was going to be a chunk of change and it was. but so worth it. 2 road trips so far. one 2800 miles and the second 1600.
- taylorgsoExplorerFinally got (6) Stainless Valve Stems installed. No more valve extenders now. They fit great and there was room for the Tire Pressure Sensors. This will give me peace of mind not having to worry about the old rubber stems leaking or blowing out while on the highway, and the metal stems are rated for a higher pressure - the rubber stems were only rated to 65psi even though the tire itself was rated at 80psi. Go figure!
- ericsmith32ExplorerTook the battery and had it recharged now to get a trickle charger for the front. Put 2 scoops of water softener in each holding tank and filled them halfway. Hopefully clean the tank so the gauge will work. Just have to fill the fresh water before the lake this weekend.
- MiniTTExplorerjust picked up our first class c after numerous travel trailers.. BTW ..i love it... took her over to see our oldest daughter, her hubby and my 3 year old granddaughter.. of course had to go for a ride .. then left and went over to our younger daughter, her husband and my 6 year old grand daughter and 1 year old grand son .. of course had to go for another ride. My grandson called it a big bus... LOL .. will go for a short camp trip in a couple of days.. Have a ton of reading material to keep us occupied. THEN will plan a ROAD TRIP ....
- taylorgsoExplorerInstalled Oxygenics shower head in the shower, and a grab bar on the screen door. Shower head produces an intense spray with reduced pressure and reduces water consumption. Feels like a lot more water than it's actually using. The grab bar on the screen door is a real convenience. I've been habitually grabbing the sliding thingy to pull the door closed, and it comes out of the slot half the time!! No more. Two inexpensive but very effective additions!!
