- KristinUExplorerWeekend stuff for us:
- Replaced the slide controller (it has had a sporadic issue with sliding in on it's own.)
- Added a mattress topper to DS's cabover bed since we've found we never slide the divided cushion up and out of the way and DS doesn't love the seam in the middle.
- Took off and repainted the water heater and furnace doors and replaced the screws with stainless - the rust was driving me nuts since we bought it.
- Noodled some more on replacing the peeling front cabover graphics...still no decision made yet.
- Replaced the air filter.
- Oil change on tap for next weekend.
One more trip out planned before winterizing and tucking her away for the winter! - ericsmith32ExplorerWell technically it was Friday but took it out on a drive around town shopping and other errands. Traveling in style guess you could say. Will do this at least once a month if we're not going camping. Sure was nice being able watch my shows and having a place for the boys to play while my wife spent a hour in Goodwill. And proof..

- Holiday27ExplorerOur entry grab handle attachments were looking pretty sad so I reverse engineered them in 3D CAD. Then I used a 3D printer and printed new ones. I made them black which I think looks a lot better than the oem white.

Taking it over to my seamstress who has made up insulated interior covers for all the openings on the RV. This includes the three skylights.
Of special interest is an entry door cover. There is also a cover to separate the cab from the rest of the heated area.
The material comes as a layer of cloth, a layer of mylar, a layer of batting. Then material that is similar to the OEM colors is added by the end user.
It will be installed with industrial Velcro.
Many of the covers will be more or less permanently installed for winter time use.
When you get it done I'm sure lots of us would love to see pictures. :C - pianotunaNomad IIITaking it over to my seamstress who has made up insulated interior covers for all the openings on the RV. This includes the three skylights.
