- WA7NDDExplorerHad Tire Man brass stem valves installed last Thursday. Even this old man can deal with the dually tires now: $147 with shipping $115 installation, worth every cent.

Installed a Camco Hybrid electric water heater conversion to stop using so much propane to heat water when most campsites furnish electricity anyway. So far, water is HOT.
Been camping twice with this water heater. First was a week long trip and second was 3 days. This water heater add-on works great. Heated it prior to start of my trip and had hot water from the start and kept it hot entire trip with showers each evening. I kept the propane turned off and never ran out of hot water. Love using electricity since it is furnished anyway and saving on propane. Money well spent. - EMD360ExplorerIt was yesterday but I was busy with the RV. Installed a Jack Antenna, our Wingman self destructed. The Jack was inexpensive and we don't really watch TV that much anyway. I put in one of those airfoil rotating black water stack vents to replace a broken one. Patched a few scraped eternabond seams. Replaced a broken cup holder and the broken door latch holder. Plus worked on the water pump issue. We are going camping next weekend by which time I hope it stops snowing here. I have the heat on in the RV to keep the newly dewinterized and water filled pipes from freezing.
- pianotunaNomad IIIStarted organizing the first of several work trips for the summer.
- trb46ExplorerDewinterized; replaced shower hose and wand; replaced CO detector; topped off batteries. Can't wait to get on the road.
- Larry_SandersExplorerI just reserved a week next month in Key West!
- OldRadiosExplorerDe-winterized and sanitized the tanks, washed what was left of the last trip off it and polished the cab. Now were packing it for a trip this week to PA.
- EMD360ExplorerCatching up on rv.net posts and dewinterizing for the first time. I have to update my profile--we have finally finished our move to Colorado. There is a great RV car wash here in Arvada. I have not seen one before. It has steps up to a platform on each side of the bay and no roof. So the sprayer can be used from above ground level (about 6' high). I love it. Got a great wash yesterday. Had the replacement Michelins ordered for however many are on the recall (they will try to sell me 6 I bet.) I'm almost afraid to try the plumbing. I didn't use pink stuff, just air and draining. We'll see.
- Mike_LeslieExplorerWell, it took two days, but on Saturday DH and I cleaned the exterior and wiped three coats of Zep High Gloss Polish on. Next day, DH went with a friend to his cabin in the woods. So I worked alone wiping on three more coats of polish. Then used car wax and waxed the cab. Boy, does the rig look great! All was well, until I decided to move the Winnie out from under a tree due to strong winds.
ACK! I hit the house gutter. My, my, at least it was a gutter that needed replacing.
