After spending the better part of my free time doing delam repair over the last two weeks, I just returned from another gorgeous 4th of July camping trip from a little known spot call Charles Campground Bangor PA. - -LqdskierExplorerJust unloaded the RV after a weekend concrete camping at Pillar point Harbor in Half Moon Bay, Ca. Also, the LED bulbs I git from M4 led lights worked awesome.
Mike - bassman2572ExplorerToday, I finally ran an outdoor cable hook-up. Albeit under the hood, it's better than none. I also removed the antiquated antenna hookup with switch for the amp and replaced it with a 12v power outlet and USB charging port.
- HandbasketExplorerIt was earlier this year, but I made one huge improvement in the Tiger's cold weather livability. It has the Suburban noise-blaster 'direct discharge' 16k Btu furnace (no duct work, hot air & return right thru the front plate). It sounds almost like a jet engine, and uses a lot of battery power. The thermostat was on the wall pretty much right above it, at the rear of the kitchen.
I like to sleep with it pretty cold, but hate to get up in the cold. I finally got around to extending the thermostat wiring, and relocating the thermostat. Now it's right beside the head of the cabover bunk, where I can reach it just by sticking my arm out of the covers. No midnight blast of noise, no weak house batteries in the AM.
I also made a three-sided baffle that fits around the front of the furnace for the night. It's a temporary trial rig, made of rigid fiberglass insulation & aluminum duct tape If I decide to go with the idea, I'll rebuild it with some kind of hinged wood casing.
Wrong time of the year to post this, but maybe it'll give someone with a similar issue some time to get inspired and do something.

- OldRadiosExplorerAdded a Culligan water filter and drinking water spout to the kitchen sink and made two small shelves, one on each side of the bed high enough to be out of the way but an easy reach for water, glasses, or whatever during the night.

Bugged me not having a place to set a bottle of water, phone, or glasses close by. Easy fix. - tenbearExplorerChecked the battery and the tire pressure. Looked at putting a drawer under one of the dinette seats where there is now a
storage space accessed by taking the seat off. - Mich_FExplorerInstalled my remote display for my surge protector today.

- Mich_FExplorerI got my Progressive Industries EMS-HW30C installed today after installing my transfer switch Friday. I still have to find somewhere to mount the remote display for the surge protector. I am also going to cut the shore power cord and make a pig tail cord out of it. It will be considerably easier hooking my new shore power/extension cord into the pig tail instead of having to run the whole thing in and out of the py-hi in the bottom of the cabinet.

- ericsmith32ExplorerGot back from another trip. Overheated a little in traffic go figure. Ordered a Hayden severe duty fan clutch and having put on Thursday. Hope this Chevy chassis doesn't follow nickel and dime like the other Chevy's I've owned.
