- Cousin_Eddie93ExplorerAnd Walla, eureka, I have new power!

- Cousin_Eddie93ExplorerRipped out all that old crud; DC circuit board and lower unit. Installed the new and wired up. It was quite easy actually. Anybody can do this.

- Cousin_Eddie93ExplorerBorrowed some of that white 12 gauge to replace the cooked wire fused to the old block. Cut back the old and soldered in the good wire. Wire nuts and crimps can be sketchy, so I avoid when ever possible.

- Cousin_Eddie93ExplorerUpper left see the shiny new neutral block. The old one was cooked pretty good, had to replace.

- Cousin_Eddie93ExplorerI'm sure the amount of work I've been putting in to Cousin Eddie lately is probably making some tired just reading about it. Well, I did it again. Today was power converter upgrade day. Our friends at Best Converters hooked me up with one of their Magnitek to PD conversion kits. No more pre charging the bats before a boondocking. This puppy charges em up in three hours flat.
Removal of exterior panels exposing that ratty old upper and lower converter. - Cousin_Eddie93Explorer

Hello and thanks, it was getting a little pitted underneath so I figured I better seal up the rust spots before something bad happens.
The gasket your referring to is a 1" diameter or so O ring, round or it may be contoured to your valve. You can pick those up any propane or even wielding supplier. The old one must have come out with the nossel at your last CG. - woodworker414ExplorerForgot to say, it looks good.

Bill - woodworker414ExplorerLooking at the propane tank, made me think. I was on a trip down to the gulf coast, needed propane, filled up at the cg.Well only half filled. For some reason I thought I may have had a leak in the system Nope. Went to have if filled locally here. and the guy said that he could nto fill it because the gasket that is at the back of the port where the propand nozzle is plugged into, is missing.
Is there a special name for that gasket?
