- dickcarlExplorerPainted the mirror supports.
- TravelcrafterExplorerI put a door stop on my bathroom door so it won't move around when I'm driving. And took the Palace out for a 1-1/2 drive. just want to keep it lubed up and I want to build up trust before i take a longer trek.
- pianotunaNomad IIICompleted a 2500 kilometer business trip. I took left on Oct 11 and returned Oct 26. Many thanks to folks that provided power for me.
- ericsmith32ExplorerEternabonded the skylight for the shower, doing it little by little so I make sure it's done right. Which turns out to be good thing. Whatever the PO sprayed on it eternabond or dicor will not stick. Have to wire brush it off.
Got a clearance 12v fan and 100w inverter putting in sometime.
Oh yeah and forgot one thing.. DON'T PUT Maxlife ATF in your side storage bins or anywhere near your RV. It smells awful to begin with and a little spill smells a whole lot worse! - pianotunaNomad IIIRan a 2nd 15 amp circuit as it is going to be cool tonight. I love having the OEM shore power cord and two additional ones. It is so useful in places such as Church parking lots where there are multiple 15 amp circuits available.
- GeoJGExplorerIt was yesterday, fwiw. I had several outlets that quit working. Determined they were probably gfi related. Took a bit to locate the breakers but I did. Fixed that problem! Yay! Then bought 2 replacement lights and an LED light for the coach. The LED keeps going off & on. Don't know why.
That isn't much but for me it was an achievement. - TravelcrafterExplorerreplaced a faulty relay in my furnace. got that thing working like a new one albeit 37 years new. had a burnt off wire on the time delay relay coil.I'm going to make a coil saver circuit and put in line with it to pull some of the current off it after it seals in. Should help the little booger last a bit longer.
- klutchdustExplorer IICame off the road and gave the coach a bath, roof included, looks so nice. Been working on the Tv situation and making headway. Removed front Tv and found a loose
support that holds the faring to the coach. It has been squeaking at 55mph plus, Jb weld and Gorilla epoxy will cure that. Moved the inverter off the shelf that services the rear tv.
Wife is happier now. Waiting for the epoxies to cure so it's come to a halt for the day. Really enjoy my motorhome. I like fixing small things before they become big things. - TravelcrafterExplorerFinally had the gumption to pull the old suburban heater out of my 1977 Travelcraft and start troubleshooting the fan circuit. It's hard to impossible to find any parts or cross reference to new parts though. Thinking there may be a new furnace in the old girls future or at least a newer one.
- OldRadiosExplorerPut the deposit down on the new RV garage. Should be built by December. Just in time for Winter. No floor till Spring when it's warm enough to poor the cement.
