- 4BeachCampersExplorerToday we drove home from our weekend get-a-way and found our new LED lights had arrived in the mail.
After unpacking, we installed all new LED lights and they look great! - Roy_LynneExplorer IIDH picked up some shells last week at the beach and well now the rig smells like rotten ocean. Gonna find those shells and get them out. Then if it doesn't rain we need to open the awning and make sure its dry before we pack her away for a couple months.
- pianotunaNomad IIIHi,
I found a flat plate radiant heater at Walmart USA that is about 2' X 2' X 2" that I think I'll permanently install in the dinette area. It draws 400 watts, so may provide a nice even heat. I'll have to decide if I'll need a thermostat on it, later.
That will have several benefits. First, the dinette area will be nice and warm during the day, second, at night the heat will radiate up through the bed and third it may radiate some heat into the utility "tunnel" which holds the water pipes from the fresh water tank to the pump. - W4MBGExplorerdumped stabil in the tank, drove the rv across town to fill it up and buy an oil filter. changed the oil in engine and genny. drained and pinked the water system. also opened all the drawers and cabinets and cracked the roof vents open.

I had a fairly productive day:
1. Sanitized the fresh water tank.
2. Organized and vacuumed all storage compartments.
3. Replaced Fire Extinguisher.
4. Cleaned all of the Floors.
5. Put 303 on the dash and door panels
6. Installed Swing Arm Mount for 26" LCD TV/DVD Combo
Tomorrow I will replace the weatherstrip on two of my storage compartments.

. - thebeach300Explorerthanks everyone for the advice on everything sad that the season is over it was our first in a motorhome and 16 yrs since we last camped did't know what we gave up when we stopped.
- EMD360ExplorerGot ready to go camping and it ended up too dark and too tired to leave tonight. Morning will come soon enough. The fridge is packed and all the tanks are full. We're on our way to a trail near Sunflower. I hope it is deserted!
The trucker's antenna that I installed a year ago at the top of the ladder on a spring mount was completely broken off and gone. Luckily I had ended up with two so I replaced the broken one mounting it much lower down the ladder. Tried to figure out how to use a telescoping paint pole for when we get to a site, but I could not get the mount around the pole. I'll have to figure that out another day. We only occasionally can get cell signal when boondocking anyway, even with the booster and antenna. Although I'm sure when we do get signal it is because we have these devices. - rehoppeExplorer
