Been there, done that.. :S - HandbasketExplorerCaught a clear high 50's-low 60's day last Wednesday. Tossed some lunch (low-fat turkey taco fixings) into the reefer, and took the Tiger and Miz Plush the travel cat down I-40 to Morganton.
Out of town on NC 181, east & north on Brown Mtn Beach Rd along beautiful Wilson Ck., and up past the pitiful remains of the town of Mortimer. A left on NC 90 at Mortimer NFS CG, and a left on Roseboro Rd. Drove a total of about 15-20 miles on dirt & gravel, up the Eastern Continental Divide to the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Not sure if the FS allows it, but found several good boondocking spots, tho' all were up beyond where the road is alongside the creek.
Jim, "At the end of the money, I always have some month left." - ReplantExplorerYesterday was a day of rest after applying 4 (or was it 3? I actually lost count) coats of Red Max Pro 3 on the left side of the MH on Friday. Today I hope to do the cab-over and then the E350 cab. This is the oldest Ford I have ever owned and the first one that doesn't have any rust. Ford has come a long way. :)

Exercised the generator, but now 110-volt power is not getting to any of the appliances. I tried resetting all of the breakers including the one on the generator and at the circuit panel but without sucess. RV is parked at the storage lot so I'll need to go get her within the next couple of weekends and bring her home to work on her.
I see you have a newer RV but on my relic, after unhooking from shore power, you have to plug the power cord into the receptical from the generator. Very basic indeed but the PO actually took the rig in for repairs when he thought there was a problem. The repairman reached into the storage compartment and plugged the cord in.:S

- 4BeachCampersExplorerOur C has been missing a window screen in the the back bedroom since we bought it. We stumbled across a screen with the right size curves but it was to big. Took it apart, then cut it down to the right size. Now looks like it came with it. Not bad for $5. :)
